2022 Wanxiang Blockchain Spring Hackathon, an immensely successful hackathon packed with over 20 teams of passionate builders and developers wrapped up yesterday, under the theme of “Metaverse: A Shared Future on Blockchain”.
This hackathon organized by Wanxiang Blockchain Labs under the guidance of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area Central Business District Construction Management Office was conducted from June 10th to June 12th. It had sponsorship from Nervos, Protocol Labs and Qtum (in alphabetical order), as well as generous support from relevant associations and communities such as Blockchain Center for Students at Peking University, Beihang University Blockchain Association, Blockchain Association of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Dorahacks, Yale Venture Club, etc.
A mixed onsite-online event, the 40-hour hackathon boasted a group of judges with proven expertise in blockchain industry, including Du Manxiang, Head of Generic Architecture Technology Department at Wanxiang Blockchain, Lin Weiwei, Researcher of IEEE P3217 Working Group: Standard for Application Interface Specification for Blockchain Systems, Wang Longfei, Protocol Labs Developer Advocate, Xiao Xiao, Investment Director of HashKey Capital, Zheng Yi, Core Developer of Qtum, and Zhixian, Early Contributor of Nervos Ecosystem.
